How can I book an escape room?

You may book a room(s) by clicking “BOOK NOW.” OR you can call us at 330.536.3327 OR email us at escapecanton@gmail.com

We require rooms to be scheduled at least a few hours in advance in order to ensure staff scheduling. There are certain times set aside for availability for each room each day, and rooms can only be booked for the listed times on the ticketing page. Unscheduled arrivals and walk-ins are discouraged for this reason.

When are you open & what are your operating hours?

We are open year ’round, even during haunted house season.  Thursdays through Sundays*.  5:00pm – 10pm Thurs-Fri-Sat, and 12noon – 4pm Sunday.     *Except Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Is there an age limit?

Technically speaking, no. However, we recommend that players be at least 8-years of age.

Is it scary?

Only 2 of our 6 rooms can be considered “scary.” Outbreak, which involves a live-action zombie actor, and Serial Killer, which is themed to a mature level and features a “jump” scare.  But, neither room is scary like the haunted house.

How long before my scheduled time do I need to arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure that your group is together and knows the rules for your escape room.

How many people can play in an escape room?

The Heist & Outbreak – 4-10 ppl; Zombie Safe House, Serial Killer, The Cursed Tomb and Jail Escape – 2-8 ppl.

If I am late can I still play?

If you arrive after the time on your ticket, and the game has begun, you will not be able to participate as it would disrupt the game for the other players in that time slot.  If your group is going to be late for your scheduled time slot, or you will not be able to make it, please call us at 330-536-3327 to let us know.  If you give us notice, we WILL allow you to reschedule your room.  However, our policy is absolutely no refunds.

Will I be playing the game with people I don’t know?

Maybe. We recommend you play the games with your own group.  If your group is small, you may be matched up with people you do not know.  Don’t worry, this can actually make your experience more fun.  The only way to ensure that your group is alone in a room is to purchase all available tickets for that room & time slot.

Will I actually be locked in a room?

Yes, the room will be locked at the start of the game. An emergency/panic button is located inside the room in the event you must exit the room. In the cases of our Serial Killer or Jail Escape rooms, you will also be handcuffed to start the game.

What should we wear?

Please dress to escape. We recommend clothes and shoes that are comfortable to bend, reach, sit, and move around in. Heels, open-toed shoes, and dresses are not recommended.  Please know that, if you’ve booked our Heist room, it is possible you or someone else in your party may be crawling on the floor at some point.  So, we recommend not wearing anything you don’t want to get dirty.

Do you sell gift certificates or cards?

We do sell gift certificates in increments of $25, $50, $75, and $100.  They are available for purchase on our ticketing site, or here at Escape Canton in person during our operating days/hours.

Can I book a corporate event or team-building at your facility?

YES!  We love doing corporate events here at Escape Canton.  There are two (2) different conference rooms available for rent, as well as discounted escape room pricing for corporate groups.
